Over the past decade I have been training and practicing as a counsellor and psychotherapist, working with individuals who have concerns about their mental health and more general every day worries and concerns, where a place to sit and talk for a while, with someone who won’t judge and isn’t connected to their everyday lives can be helpful.
I have worked with a range of needs from simply having a desire to discover more about yourself and how you are in the world, to feelings of low self esteem, anxiety, depression, dealing with loss and change, relationship worries, unfulfilled potential and stuckness.
As an integrative practitioner, I call upon a range of therapies to help support my work with you, including Attachment-based and Psychodynamic psychotherapies, CBT techniques and Mindfulness practices. I have a positive focus, looking for the strengths in people and how we can use them to support ourselves through life’s challenges.
I offer evidence-based relational practice and, as research evidence suggests, believe the relationship between you and your therapist is key, so it’s important to take the time to choose the therapist who feels right for you.
Based on the South Coast of the UK, I offer one to one sessions by video or telephone.
The work can be short, medium or longer term depending on your needs.
Sessions are generally weekly and 50 minutes in duration. Costs start from £50.
Please contact me for an initial discussion to explore how I can help.
